A “Window for Communication,” providing necessary information to use the library

One of the first things you see when you enter the lobby is the “Samsung SMART Signage” video wall, a window for communication. To look at this Signage is to understand why the library is called a “smart library.” This large video wall, composed of a total of four “Samsung SMART Signages,” delivers pertinent information on the use of the library and campus life. University students can get information through the “window for communication” about remaining seats in the library, as well as the weather and time. All this information is updated in real-time. Cheongju University installed the kiosks with “Samsung SMART Signage” all over the library to provide greater convenience for students. This makes it easier and faster for students to find the information they need through the kiosks. The “Information digital board,” installed next to the user service center, delivers various guidance information, making it more convenient to use the library. You can find various information about the facilities, remaining seats, and personnel, as well as watching promotional videos about the university. The E-Newspaper kiosks in the lobby also catch your eyes. The 4 E-Newspaper kiosks deliver the content of English newspapers, major newspapers, and local newspapers that are updated daily. Through the clear and vivid display of “Samsung SMART Signage,” students can take a look at the front pages of various newspapers. Students can also enter keywords to find news or arrange news by section, making it easier and more convenient than ever to find the news they want. The “Global Info” in the “Global Study Lounge” on the second floor provide information about student exchange programs and notification from partner universities. “Samsung All-in One PCs are installed next to the Global info, allowing for easy Internet search. Furthermore, the kiosks, “All about book,” gives information including recommended books, new books, popular books, and book rental history. These large displays are available for any purpose thanks to “Samsung SMART Signage” with FHD.
